Did you know that our students get to enjoy adventures on the trails? Thanks to our partners at Proctor Creek Farm, riders will be able to escape the heat and ride under the shade of the trees this summer!

Sunny days during this wet winter are what we live for! Wouldn't it be nice to enjoy a beautiful day from the saddle? We think so! Give us a call to take a tour or schedule a trial lesson. We would love to see you on the farm!

We've been working hard on developing our life skills program that is set to launch within the next month. During our development process, we like to reach out to our community to see what you all want to see from our programs.

My daughters have been taking lessons here for about a year and have made a lot of progress in that time. One of my daughters homeschools due to social anxiety/generalized anxiety disorder and this has been a great outlet for her. It is one of the few places she feels very comfortable and always looks forward to going. Erin is patient but consistent with her and knows when to push her towards independence and when to nurture her if she is struggling. She is technically not a therapeutic rider but her lessons act as therapy for her in many ways as a result. She enjoys volunteering from time to time also. My younger daughter is making great strides in her lessons as well. Erin’s emphasis on building technical skills has helped her progress and get stronger. Erin is great at encouraging independence and setting clear expectations and standards and my girls take a lot of pride in meeting those standards. She seems to be very intuitive with the girls and knows how to meet them where they...

Our 17 year old autistic son loves to spend time with Erin, Jenny, and all the fabulous volunteers at Hand Hoof And Heart. He loves his year round riding lessons and will be attending summer camp again this year. We love the fact he is learning to be more independent, how to care for his designated horse Maggie, and working on different therapy tasks designed especially for his needs. He gets so excited to go to Proctor Creek farm and see all animals and friends. This is a great organization with very dedicated staff and volunteers. We highly recommend Hand Hoof and Heart!

I highly recommend Erin and team! Horses are gentle. The staff is amazing, very caring and very helpful (without being overbearing).

Learn about HHH

Hand, Hoof and Heart offers horseback riding lessons to the special needs community and neurotypical community. Our team includes three PATH certified instructors with experience teaching complete beginners up to more advanced riders.

Our programs focus on providing our students with a strong foundation in this sport and also puts an emphasis on our students' self-growth. Our instructors make a point to build a unique relationship with each rider and are dedicated to providing our students with lesson plans that suit their individual needs. Our program not only provides our riders with strong riding instruction, but also offers support through personal life goals.

Our lessons are unique in a way that our students not only learn about their horses, but learn about themselves and how to improve, achieve, strengthen and work through things they may be experiencing in their lives.

Please note that we do not offer commercial trail rides or one time trail rides.
